Using the counter for a deposit slip
Banks ask for the denomination-wise breakup and for the grand total in both figures and words. Fill in the note counts above, check that the total matches your cash, then copy the words onto the slip. If you print the summary, take it with you as a checklist, but still fill the bank’s own slip.
Frequently asked questions
What is a cash counter?
You enter how many notes you have of each denomination. The tool multiplies, adds the subtotals and gives the grand total in figures and words, which is exactly what a bank deposit slip asks for.
Can I add a denomination that is not listed?
Yes. Type it into “Add denomination” and press Add. Custom denominations can be removed with the × button.
Is my count saved?
The current count is kept in your browser so a refresh does not wipe it. Nothing is sent anywhere. Press Reset to clear it.
